Principal Cost Analyst (CHA00MM) Primary Location: USA-WV-Charleston Job: Project Controls Schedule: Full-time Employment Type: Employee Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for the preparation, quality, and accuracy of project cost reports; liaise with project management and clients on all matters related to cost control Establish, maintain, and update cost control budgets, actuals, and forecasts within Worley’s cost control system Develop, update, and monitor deliverable earned‑progress data and reports with engineering discipline leads Actively manage cost forecasts; raise, and facilitate the trend process; update forecast and cash flows Develop and maintain engineering and services staffing plans Calculate, explain, and report variances, performance, and other project metrics Calculate and explain value of work done Review and validate data with discipline leads for cost reporting data, incurred cost, earned value and forecasts Manage vendor budgets, commitments, invoices, and forecasting Support project change processes by helping create, review, and track project deviation notices and variations Participate and review professional services estimates Incorporate project accounting and financial information from Worley’s financial system Respond to ad hoc requests and inquiries, as required Qualifications: Minimum 12 years’ progressive experience in Project Controls Working knowledge of EcoSys Proven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Thorough understanding of project control activities for oil and gas downstream, midstream, or upstream onshore or offshore, mining & metals, and related industries’ projects Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite University degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline (Engineering), or equivalent relevant experience What You’ll Get: Exposure to complex, high‑profile projects that shape industries and communities Opportunities to develop new skills and expand your expertise Collaboration with experienced professionals across a global organization A culture that values curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement The ability to build a career path that aligns with your goals and ambitions #J-18808-Ljbffr
