Details Work in the Advanced Care/EMU unit of a hospital setting Monitors EMU patients 24/7 for seizure activity Works alongside critical care team and hospitalists for Advanced Care patients Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week No on-call requirements No floating required 5 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period Every other holiday coverage required Epic charting system used Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing required BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience required ASN required, BSN preferred Epic charting experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Additional Information Responsible for a designated group of patients, performing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions Utilizes meaningful hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and whiteboards to maintain communication with patients and families Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation Reports and corrects safety hazards and incidents Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not be continuously on assignment for more than 1 year at this health system without a 6-month break in service American Traveler Job ID P-764887.
