Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal/Pediatric Transport

Position Summary We’re seeking a staff RN to join our hospital‑based team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your specialized training and knowledge with a multidisciplinary approach. FTE, Shift, Schedule FTE: 0.75 | Shift: Nights | Schedule: Variable days including weekends. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in NICU (level IV), PICU or Pediatric Emergency Department. BLS, PALS, NRP required at time of hire. TNCC, STABLE, STABLE Cardiac preferred at time of hire. TNCC, STABLE, STABLE Cardiac required within one year of hire if not current at time of hire. Adherence to air transport vendor required; body weight in flight gear required. Applicant must currently provide coverage for Mary Bridge Transport Team in Neonatal/Pediatric Transport RN role, in good standing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement. Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred. Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi‑state licensure endorsement (MSL). Current BLS Certification required. ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department. Certification in specialty area preferred. One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred. You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction. Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team. Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $46.80 - $90.30 USD. Pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
