Job Summary:
Seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN to provide specialized critical care to pediatric patients within a busy hospital setting. The position requires flexibility to float across pediatric units as needed, delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU and other pediatric units.
• Float across Pediatric CVPICU, NICU, and PICU units to meet facility staffing needs.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage complex clinical equipment such as ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and compliance policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Pediatric ICU nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from AHA.
• Demonstrated experience with advanced therapies such as ECMO and CRRT preferred.
• Ability to float across pediatric units and adapt to varying clinical demands.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
