About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Infusion RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010!
Job Title: Infusion Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (10:00 - 18:30) Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, OCN Must-Have: Current chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card to administer chemotherapy Previous travel assignment experience Description: Infusion RN needed for an infusion center. Shift is from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays required. The ideal candidate will administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments for oncology patients. A minimum of two years of experience in infusion nursing is required. Experience managing a patient ratio of 6-7 patients is preferred. Candidates must have proficiency in accessing and managing ports and central lines. Knowledge of starting and maintaining IVs is essential. The unit treats all solid tumors and various hematological conditions, including Multiple Myeloma and Leukemias. Special procedures may include red blood exchange and bone marrow biopsies. Candidates will work in an interdisciplinary environment with support from social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. About Cynet Health
