PTO Package: 401 K with company match Job Summary Under direction of the Director of Therapy & Wellness, the Athletic Trainer provides immediate assessment, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; counsels athletes, coaches and parents in various health-related areas; and provides preventative advice on athletic trauma or conditions that adversely affect health or performance of the athlete. The Athletic Trainer will also represent Rainy Lake Medical Center in a positive and professional manner while providing athletic trainer coverage for local or regional high school and college athletic programs as determined appropriate by RLMC. Minimum Qualifications Maintain Current MN Athletic Trainer License Maintain current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification BCLS certification (or the ability to become certified) Minimum of bachelor's degree in athletic training Preferred Qualifications 1 or 2 years of experience in athletic training setting Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
