Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for a patient service center in Fenton, Missouri. The role involves collecting blood specimens, performing data entry, processing billing, and delivering customer service across multiple scheduled shifts including weekend rotations.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Perform accurate and timely patient data entry and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information, collect payments, and prepare specimens for testing
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime
