Our values of integrity, collaboration, and excellence enable us to lead the industry in providing the optimal solution for our clients.Keller is looking for an experienced Project Manager in Austin, TX location.Business Development & Proposal PreparationIdentify new business opportunities and collaborate with management on overall strategy and resource alignment.Support the identification of new markets, clients, and technologies while building and maintaining strong client relationships.Lead proposal development, including risk assessment, profit optimization, estimating, engineering input, technical writing, site visits, and client Q&A.Negotiate contracts and ensure a clear understanding of all contractual requirements.Coordinate with the pre-construction team, as applicable.Risk ManagementMaintain full compliance with Keller risk management policies and procedures.Proactively identify major risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the company.Pre-Construction & Initial PlanningOversee design coordination, submittals, material procurement, pre-job planning, and project scheduling.Plan and lead pre-project meetings with Superintendents and other key stakeholders.Partner with the project team to develop strategies that maximize project profitability.Project ExecutionBuild, lead, and support high-performing project teams.Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project specifications and requirements.Collaborate with branch and project teams to maintain schedule adherence and budget performance.Identify and resolve challenges while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance project outcomes and profitability.Change ManagementIdentify, track, and manage project changes; escalate issues as necessary to ensure proper resolution.Financial ManagementReview and approve weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) collections.Safety & Quality AssuranceEnsure full compliance with Keller and OSHA safety standards and requirements.Partner with HSEQ in the event of a safety incident to support employees and project teams in alignment with company policy.Address and resolve all quality nonconformance issues.Exercise stop-work authority when safety or quality concerns arise.QualificationsBackground Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Experience) • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred. • Minimum 5 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred. • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessaryAdditional InformationActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by lawBenefits401(k) + matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday PayKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
