Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Aide

Position Overview Maintains a clean and neat environment on a daily basis, keeps supplies in their proper order, distributes supplies, assists professional staff with patient transports in a timely manner, and assists patients with ambulation and predetermined exercise programs by following instructions accurately. Priority is given to those duties that require patient movement within the system and assisting the professional staff with patient treatment. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Endicott Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Has a working knowledge of medical terminology, previous experience in patient care and clerical skills License/Certification Minimum Required: CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
