Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Labor & Delivery team, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting women and infants during one of the most significant moments of their lives.

As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will be responsible for the overall nursing practice within the unit, working closely with the Unit Director. Your role will include assessing the needs of childbearing women, neonates, and families, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating nursing care outcomes. You will also serve as a liaison between patients and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Assess patient and family developmental levels, health status, and learning needs
• Perform initial assessments and stabilization of neonates
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Teach self-care and newborn care to patients and families
• Support families in achieving optimal health and functioning
• Identify and intervene with vulnerable patients and families-at-risk
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for recovery and wellness
• Maintain knowledge, skills, and competency in women's and infants' care

Requirements for this role include:

• Completion of an accredited registered nurse program
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, renewed every two years
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, renewed every two years
• Experience with EPIC systems
• Need 1 year experience in setting
