Mechanical Project EngineerIrwin, PATarget Salary $85-$95KOur Pittsburgh, PA based manufacturing client is expanding and looking to add a mechanical design engineer to their team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design and drafting for customer specific capital equipment orders as well as creating BOM's.Key Job Requirements:Capital Equipment/Machine Design/Drafting in Pro E Wildfire 4.0 and SolidWorks 2021.Tooling/Fixture Design -Estimates and Designs tooling for various EH technologies.Create and maintain accurate change logs and issue logs during machine build process. Follow company ECN process to correct design issues.Support electrical and hydraulic schematic drafting in AutoCADSupport capital equipment machine start-up and debug/trouble shooting during all phases of the build.Support purchasing by communicating with vendors to ensure designs are manufactured efficiently as possible. Candidate will also support purchasing with technical details as necessary.Communicates with Project Management to ensure all customer expectations are considered in design phase.Maintains accurate records of tooling designs.Work with global team members to support the design and fabrication of machines built at their sites.Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experienceMinimum of two (2) years' 3D modeling and drafting experience with Pro-Engineer and SolidWorksHands-on experience running machines and designing / assembling fixtures preferredProficient Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and Microsoft ProjectGood written & oral communication skillsExcellent organization skills / ability to multi-taskKnowledge of SAP a plusKnowledge of various fabrication processes (i.e., machining, sheet metal, welding, etc.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
