Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General Surgery Job Details:
Coverage Type: Inpatient
No Call
Urgent coverage needed from June 1st to August 31 st though ongoing opportunity
Dates of Need: 3 days a week, 4 weeks a month are needed. Will be flexible on when they can pick up shifts during the week.
Shift Times: 6:30am-4:30pm
Providers won't be in the OR.
PA-C with general surgery experience required
NPs must have ACNP credential and be nationally certified
Must have OR experience and at least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity
Active CA license and CA DEA required
Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement):
NOT reimbursed:
o Mileage from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.
o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.
WILL be reimbursed:
o Airport parking at provider s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.
o Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed.
o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips.
Compensation: $115/hr with weekly pay and malpractice included.
