Sterile Processing Technician
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities.
Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications
- Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts
- Paring and replenishment of materials
- Working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS. IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified.
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 1 year in sterile processing.

About the Team
Holy Cross Hospital is a cornerstone of Nogales, providing emergency care, general surgery, labor and delivery services and important health and wellness education for residents across Santa Cruz County. This 25-bed, critical-access hospital has been a part of Carondelet Health Network since the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet began managing the hospital in the early 1980s.
