We're seeking a highly driven VP, Business Development with strong relationships in the automotive dealership industry to continue growing our Auto Dealer Practice and build a profitable book of business. This is an opportunity to leverage an established network, work directly with dealership owners and executives, and deliver specialized solutions backed by a respected industry leader. Unlike traditional brokerage roles, you'll have access to proprietary niche programs, industry endorsements, strong prospect intelligence, and a highly targeted market, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing business. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow revenue. Build and maintain relationships with dealership owners, executives, and key decision-makers. Consult clients on risk management, insurance solutions, and cost containment strategies. Achieve and exceed annual new business goals. Manage and expand an existing book of business through retention and cross-selling opportunities. Partner with account management, consulting, and employee benefits teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes. Advocate for clients with carrier underwriters to secure competitive solutions. Maintain an active pipeline using Salesforce and Salesloft. Represent BevCap at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and client meetings. Travel as needed to support business development and client relationships. Qualifications: 3+ years of successful commercial insurance sales experience. Strong network and established relationships within the automotive dealership industry. Comprehensive knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and risk management concepts. Texas Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
