Job Description

Associate Veterinarian – General Practice | Greater St. Louis Region

Looking for a veterinary opportunity that offers something beyond a traditional small animal GP role? We’re highlighting a full-time Associate Veterinarian opportunity in the Greater St. Louis region for a doctor interested in quality medicine, professional growth, and the opportunity to work with a broader variety of patients.

This opportunity may be especially interesting to veterinarians with an interest in avian and exotic medicine , although you don't need to have your entire career mapped out before starting the conversation.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time Associate Veterinarian position offering the opportunity to practice companion animal medicine while also exploring or continuing an interest in avian and exotic veterinary care .

The opportunity includes a signing bonus of $40,000+ and offers long-term professional growth, including potential partnership eligibility for qualified veterinarians.

Whether you already have experience with avian and exotic patients or are interested in expanding your clinical interests, we'd like to hear what you're looking for in your next opportunity.

What We’re Looking For

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• Current veterinary license in Missouri, or eligibility to obtain one
• Interest in companion animal medicine
• Interest or experience in avian and/or exotic veterinary medicine
• Commitment to thoughtful, high-quality patient care
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine
• Veterinarians at different stages of their careers are encouraged to explore the opportunity

Why This Opportunity?

Not every veterinarian wants their career to look exactly the same.

For some, having the opportunity to work with a broader variety of species makes medicine more interesting. For others, compensation, team, location, professional development, or the possibility of building toward something long-term matters most.

If the Greater St. Louis region is somewhere you'd consider and the opportunity to incorporate avian or exotic medicine into your career catches your attention, tell us what you're looking for.
