Job Description
A rewarding leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Nursing (DON) for a 2-week local assignment working 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The Director of Nursing will provide clinical and operational leadership to nursing staff while ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and efficient departmental operations. This short-term assignment is ideal for an experienced nursing leader capable of quickly integrating into a healthcare environment and supporting ongoing clinical excellence.

Requirements:

Active RN License required

BLS Certification required

Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred

Nursing leadership and supervisory experience required

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements

Experience with staffing, scheduling, and performance management preferred

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills required
