Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Binghamton, NY. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a newly assigned ICU setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring adherence to all standards of practice and safety protocols. The role emphasizes professional development, collaboration, and supporting a patient-centered care environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, every 3rd weekend
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); Six (6) months to three (3) years of nursing experience; experience with intensive cardiac patients including CHF, COPD, end stage heart failure, cardiogenic shock, septic shock, GI bleeds, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and normothermia; stroke patient care for thrombectomy and TNK; ICU overflow experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; CCRN certification; relevant skills certification such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform duties related to charge nurse or shift coordinator roles when assigned and will support professional development through participation in clinical ladder programs and continuous education. The position involves active participation in the Nursing Shared Governance Model, with a focus on quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
