Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
• Provide direct nursing care to ICU and PCU patients in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and care coordination
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Participate in charge or preceptor duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN state license (required)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience in ICU or related specialty (required)
• Valid Driver's License (required)
• Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates in the Madison area may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Experience in a trauma center environment
