Harrison County Hospital has continuously served the people of Harrison County since 1950. Today our acute care community hospital serves the healthcare needs of a much broader and growing population in Harrison and Crawford counties, Indiana and Meade County, Kentucky - a service area of approximately 60,000 residents. Here, we care for our patients and embrace a fine healthcare staff. During the past 20 years, our Hospital has experienced positive financial performance. As our community grows, we grow, serving more patients than ever before, and recruiting highly qualified hospital and medical staff. Harrison County Hospital is seeking an experienced paramedic to be a member of our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities for our paramedics include:
● provide swift emergency medical care that will include responding to emergency calls, performing various medical procedures, administering medication, when needed, and transporting patients to healthcare facilities.
● You must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment..
Requirements for our paramedics include:
● Current American Heart or Red Cross CPR
● Current Indiana Paramedic Certification
● Current American Heart Advanced Life Support Certification
● Current American Heart Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
● Current Hazmat Awareness and obtain Hazmat Operations Level within one year
● Current Driver's License
