Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Community DeveloperThe Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Community Developer is responsible for communicating, designing, testing, and rolling out innovative eCommerce experience for various Adtalem Higher Education Institutions using Salesforce commerce cloud (Demandware) environment.This role sits within IT scrum team and engages with product owners and digital product managers to drive the delivery of technology solutions by understanding business objectives, right sizing the requirements, assessing various solution options to fit the need, articulating the risks & benefits of chosen architecture, and promoting architecture standards within the Adtalem’s Scaled Agile SAFe environment.Experience must include commerce cloud front-end development, store-front administration, handling IT features using Agile and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions. This individual is expected to provide comprehensive consultation to IT managers at the highest technical level and own the solution standards.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:• Convert UI/UX wireframes into Salesforce commerce cloud SFRA application that meets business requirements• Developing ISML files DW syntaxes• Developing ds files that can perform backend logic• Developing controllers - Visual/Functional representation of a logic and cartridge development (ex. Cart-MinicartAdd would add an item to the minicart)• Developing CSS, JS files for web application branding & customization• Developing templates and content slots using ISML, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and integrate with Pipelines/Controllers• Proficient in using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or similar solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX• Develop front-end components for intuitive and responsive design layouts• Create slots and slot configurations, resource bundles.• Experience consuming data from Azure API Gateway and MuleSoft Anytime API platform• Experience in CI/CD pipeline set up with Azure DevOps (GitHub Repos, Pipeline, Artifactory)• Understanding of Open ID Connect to configure SSO configurations with Azure AD or OKTA• Design, use and help support a series of reusable components such as APIs, Data as a Service, and promote interoperable configuration-based solutions• Partner with product owner with digital product teams to review and determine solution implementation for stated business requirements in the Scaled Agile SAFe model• Introduce mechanisms and best practices to prevent recurrence of performance issues• Develop an approach for PoC/Spike to test how the features will work in scaled-up architecture• Document best practices, operational procedures, troubleshoot and resolve issues• Develop and implement the best possible web development solutions using SFRA commerce cloud architecture• Follow Agile development methodology and participate in internal and external planning sprints to drive and deliver functionality on a regular cadence with data-driven feedback loops.• Use source driven development in azure dev ops (repositories, pipelines, antifactory)• Communicate status, risks to schedules, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects• Adhere to web standards, compliance, and technical governance and take direct responsibility for quality work to meet development and implementation schedules• Proactively uncover opportunities to improve and optimize processes and interfaces on the Salesforce platform.• Able to lead the effort as a self-starter to determine the architecture and design of UI (User Interface) solutions by understanding the needs of the Digital Product Management roadmaps• Conduct design sessions with Product Managers and document well define acceptance criteria.• Partners closely with release managers, and IT SecOps teams to ensure platforms are supportable via industry-standard best practices.• Maintain accurate and updated documentation of system designs• Maintains awareness of trends in technologies; evaluates emerging technologies or opportunities and provides analysis of their potential impact to benefit the business.Work effectively across a matrix organizationRequired Skills: SalesForce.
