Job Summary
The Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) supports clinical trial planning through comprehensive budgeting, benchmarking, and financial analysis. The role is responsible for developing program- and study-level budget scenarios, translating operational assumptions (e.g., number of sites, countries, timeline, and enrollment) into financial clinical trial forecasts, and supporting decision-making across clinical programs.
The FPA works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, transparent, and high-quality budget outputs and contributes to continuous improvement of budgeting methodologies and tools.

Job Summary

Core Essential Skill Set
- Minimum 2 years of work experience required.
- Quick learner with strong Microsoft Excel , PowerPoint , and AI tools skills.
- Bachelor's degree is the minimum educational requirement.
- Previous experience working with clinical trial budgeting tools , such as:
- IQVIA Investigator Grant
- Medidata Grant Manager
- Oracle ClearTrial ( Very Important )
- Understanding of Fair Market Value (FMV) for clinical trial purposes.
- Strong understanding of clinical trials and clinical protocols , including:
- Schedule of Assessments (SOA)
- Site requirements and needs
- No accounting experience is required; however, a high-level understanding of financial impact is essential.
- Clinical Trial Budgeting experience is required.
- Exposure to AI tools ( Very Important ).
