Job Details:

• Weekend day shift schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float to X-ray as needed
• Two techs staffed per shift covering X-ray and CT for the emergency department and inpatients
• Some patient transport involved to and from the emergency department
• Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions during shift hours
• Utilize Epic - Radiant radiology system and Perfect Serve secure paging to communicate with radiologists
• Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Primary stroke center environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field required; first-time travelers considered based on experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS, and SC Radiology license
• Required skills include: abdomen CT with/without contrast, chest CT, head CT, vascular chest imaging, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis CT, soft tissue neck, sinuses, thoracic, lumbar, cervical, carotid, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting peripheral IVs
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where staff are qualified with documented competencies

This healthcare facility is a primary stroke center offering comprehensive imaging services including X-ray and CT coverage for both the emergency department and inpatient population. The facility operates with off-site radiologist support and utilizes advanced technology including Epic - Radiant and Perfect Serve secure paging systems.
