Shift Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, & Sat (Sun & Wed off) 10:30am-7:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and closely monitor 10 to 20 owner operators in a high‑paced LTL environment Ensure compliance with California DOT transportation regulations and all national and state DOT laws Maintain a 99.5% on‑time performance rate Distribute work equally among all drivers Understand and enforce all customer pick‑up and delivery procedures Remind drivers daily to drive safely and remain aware of their surroundings Remind drivers periodically of pick‑up and delivery procedures React to emergency or urgent situations and follow company protocol Supervisory Responsibilities This position includes supervisory responsibilities over drivers. Competencies Customer Service: Respond to service requests and meet commitments Written Communication: Present numerical data effectively; read and interpret written information Ethics: Work with integrity, upholding organizational values Dependability: Follow instructions and respond to management direction Oral Communication: Listen, clarify, and respond well to questions Professionalism: Treat others with respect regardless of status or position Qualifications High school diploma plus at least two years of industry experience, or four years of customer service or operations experience Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence Ability to calculate basic mathematical figures and apply algebra and geometry concepts Common‑sense reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems Physical Demands Regular sitting; frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing. Work Environment Quiet office environment. Pay Range $20.00‑$23.50 per hour. The company may adjust this range based on market conditions and location.
