Responsibilities Work nights: 7:00pm–7:30am with on‑call requirements. Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). One year of current acute‑care RN experience. Military RN experience considered. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Physical Requirements Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye–hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium Work: Exerting 20–50pounds of force occasionally, 10–25pounds frequently, and >10pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demands in excess of Light Work.
