Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Production Lead - 2nd Shift (Leadperson) Full Time, Grand Prairie, TX. Shift: 5:00 pm – 5:00 am (2nd shift). Starting Pay: $23.00/hr DOE. Essential Job Functions: Lead and coordinate critical areas of pipe finishing, outlets/specials and loading. Coordinate and assure proper material deliveries. Ensure safety, quality, and production objectives are met by being a presence on the floor with practical, relevant experience to reinforce best practices. Develop action plans to meet deadlines and responsibilities. Monitor personnel for adherence to company policies and productivity. Read blueprints and specifications and be technically proficient. Produce a quality product (including quality evaluations) that meets the customers’ expectations while ensuring that drawings and job specifications are followed. Communicate and provide training. Perform requirements to satisfy company procedures, including administrative requirements. Strive for zero defects and incidents. Work closely with production leaders and engineering to ensure that deadlines are met. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred. At least 2 years of leading experience in a manufacturing or production support process. Physical Demands: Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach, and lift, carry, push or pull medium weights up to 50 pounds. Exposure to moving machinery, temperature changes, dust and fumes.
