Associate Brand Manager - Squishmallows

As the Associate Brand Manager, you'll help drive the strategy, storytelling, and partnerships that keep Squishmallows, one of the world's most beloved franchises, growing. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Creative, Product Development, Global Events, and Sales & Retail teams to bring the brand to life at every touchpoint. You will manage multiple initiatives from concept through execution, develop timelines and workbacks, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, track deliverables, and proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep projects on track. What You Will Do:

• Drive daily brand operations by collaborating with product design, packaging, marketing, licensing, and international teams to create innovative products that align with overarching strategies

• Assist in all phases of the product development lifecycle from concept to market, ensuring schedules are met and brand integrity is maintained with licensors

• Evaluate competitive landscapes, analyze point-of-sale (POS) data, and provide consumer insights to inform product positioning, new segments, and retail exclusive plans

• Own and manage product line planning documents and project management software, ensuring all item details, changes, and updates are promptly communicated

• Coordinate the timely creation of development samples, models, photography, and copy briefs, publishing deliverables for cross-functional sales use

• Assist in the creation of compelling brand decks and sales materials, collaborating with internal teams to incorporate sales input and consumer feedback into new product lines

• Track and analyze the sales and profitability of new and existing products while participating in key account calls as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in product development, product management, or brand management

• 2+ years of experience within the consumer products industry

• Brand marketing experience, ideally in toys, licensed products or adjacent consumer categories such as fashion, beauty and lifestyle
  

• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of point-of-sale data, competitive insights, and tracking performance metrics

• Exceptional project management, multitasking, and organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced presentation and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage audiences and build cross-functional consensus

• Solid understanding of product development, manufacturing processes, and digital rights management systems

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite

Nice To Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is a plus

• Previous experience in the toys or games industry

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is $75,840.00 - $91,740.00/ Yr. The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.

Our benefits package includes basic medical insurance that is 100% company-paid for employees and their children, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4% of pretax or post-tax deferrals, short and long-term disability, and tuition reimbursement.

Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave. Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
