Child Psychiatrist

Part-time (20-24 hours per week) Child Psychiatrist needed in beautiful & historic Philadelphia!! Upwards of $150 per hour! Seeking to fill position immediately!! Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, assessments and discharge summaries, providing individual and family or collateral psychotherapy, scoring vineland adaptive behavior scales, reviewing and approving client treatment plans, providing psychiatric consultations as a member of the treatment team, participation in treatment team meetings, participating in facility sponsored research projects, medication management, follow-up recommendations on evaluations for facility clients, consultation regarding diagnostic changes, calling parents when diagnosis changes, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the executive director.

Minimum requirements include having an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the U.S. or having a valid M.D. from a foreign school of medicine and having passed the ECFMG exam, completing an internship from an accredited graduate medical education program recognized by the AMA (LCME) or AOA, having a valid and current PA medical license for the practice of psychiatry, completing a psychiatric residency in an accredited residency program and being board certified or eligible in child psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, having a valid and current DEA certificate number, possessing a minimum of professional liability coverage of $1,000,000/occurrence and $2,000,000/aggregate; or $200,000/occurrence and $600,000 aggregate and participating in the PA Catastrophic Fund, and act 33 clearance.
