Welcome to George & Gather, a gourmet hangout in Chandler opening in February 2025, serving delicious from-scratch fare with clean, organic ingredients. Join our team as a Prep Cook and be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Washing, cutting and chopping vegetables and meats and other meal preparation
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
• Preparing workstations for cooking.
• Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Checking the quality of the ingredients.
• Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques.
• Managing storage by stocking all ingredients and orders.

Requirements:

• Must have prior kitchen experience.
• Must be skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
• Must be skilled in various cooking techniques.
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must showcase great organizational skills.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred

Work schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Holidays
