Quality Technician I

Quality Inspector (Manufacturing) This role involves inspecting and testing manufactured parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. You'll use precision measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines, and hardness testers), read blueprints and engineering drawings, record inspection data, write quality reports, and help investigate nonconforming materials. The position also supports tool calibration, material review activities, and quality containment/sorting when needed. Key qualifications: High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of manufacturing or engineering experience. Ability to read blueprints and use precision inspection equipment. Basic math skills and the ability to determine if products meet specifications. Good written and verbal communication skills. Physical requirements: Lift up to 25 lbs regularly. Stand and walk on concrete for 8-12-hour shifts. Perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Work in a noisy manufacturing environment where hearing protection may be required.
