Lead Salesforce Developer/Architect - Omni Studio Expert

Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 Months + Extension Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE) Work Authorization: Responsibilities Design & Develop OmniScripts and LWCs to build dynamic, branded, mobile-first Admissions Application forms. Implement Apex logic including classes, triggers, and REST APIs to support validation, automation, and system integrations. Build and maintain Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen Flows) for automated processes like routing and notifications. Integrate with external systems such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, SharePoint, SFTP, and AWS using DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and custom Apex. Develop Save-for-Later functionality with secure session handling and step-based logic. Configure Experience Cloud environments, including guest user access, profiles, and visibility settings for security compliance. Collaborate with UX teams and stakeholders to define user journeys and edge case handling (e.g., international applicants, returning students). Create technical documentation and deployment plans; contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Copado. Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and support QA/UAT testing, ensuring scalability and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Architect capacity. Strong proficiency with Lightning Web Components (LWC). Deep knowledge of Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Experience Cloud. Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems (PeopleSoft, AWS, etc.). Understanding of Salesforce security architecture and guest user access management. Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado or similar CI/CD platforms. Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, or Application Architect are a plus. We are an equal opportunity employer.
