Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Responsible for triage and care of acute patients across various age groups Utilizes Epic for charting 13-week assignment length Requirements Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted) Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only) Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date via NURSYS and BON Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific care principles Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift frequently, including lifting 35 lbs with assisted device Additional Information Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects Maintain accurate patient records and document vital signs and condition changes Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members on patient care planning Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be considered for the local rate First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-739633.
