Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
Associates degree in Radiology Technology required.
EKG training required / Annual EKG competency review required.

Special Requests:
The assignment may be offered for up to 20 weeks.

Unit Details:
Patient care ranges from young adults through the elderly and includes critically ill patients.
The role supports sterile diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
Procedures include PTCA, PCI, Rotablator, CSI, Penumbra, balloon pump and Impella insertion, intravascular ultrasound, fractional flow reserve and instantaneous wave-free ratio, temporary pacemaker insertion, structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PFO closures, and MitraClips, pacemaker and ICD placement, loop recorder insertion and removal, radiofrequency, cryo, and electrical pulse-field ablations, electrophysiology procedures, and synchronized cardioversion and defibrillation.
Vascular procedures include IVC filters, peripheral runoffs, acute and chronic occlusions, PTA and stenting, radiofrequency ablations, AAA repair, TCAR, carotid angiography, renal angiograms, graftograms and fistulograms, and EKOS.
Assists with vascular access and with maintaining or pulling arterial and venous sheaths, including manual compression and hemostasis devices.
Assists with arterial and venous closure devices, including Mynx, Vascade, Perclose, Angio-Seal, and TR Band.
Uses Spectranetics laser, an Acist contrast delivery device or manual manifold, X-ray equipment, and other Cath Lab equipment.
Assists with thermodilution, invasive monitoring and hemodynamic calculations, contrast volume tracking, ACT, and assessment of hemodynamic stability using invasive and non-invasive measures.
Provides sterile technique, radiological positioning and techniques, and cardiac monitor lead placement.
Assists with PCI registry data collection, postmortem care, and patient transport.
Documents hemodynamic values, procedural details, and clinical responses in the Philips XPER hemodynamic monitoring system.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call coverage is required 24/7 (365 days), with a 30-minute hospital arrival time.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 4 years

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 4 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
