Maintenance Manager - Machining Industry

Salary: $90-100K

Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Fairfield, OH

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee a robust preventive maintenance program for all shop equipment and facility systems.
Plan and perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery (Haas, Doosan, Mazak, Okuma)
Maintain air compressors, coolant systems, hydraulic units
Install and repair electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase
Conduct daily checks on machine cleanliness and fluid levels
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and drawings
Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA, and environmental safety regulations
Coordinate maintenance with department supervisors to minimize production downtime
Maintain facility interiors and exteriors
Perform spill response and general building upkeep

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
5+ years of maintenance experience in a CNC machine shop
Previous management experience is required
Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Experience with CNC controls and factory-level repairs
Ability to interpret technical documents
Familiarity with LOTO procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
