Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician
- Assist in the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Perform routine inspections of sterilization processes
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization and inventory
- Collaborate with surgical team and other healthcare professionals
Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician
- Valid certification as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
