PCU/Tele Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU/Tele Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a progressive care unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients with complex needs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
• Monitor patients' vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Manage and care for patients with central lines, chest tubes, and monitors.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Nursing experience, specifically in a PCU or Telemetry setting.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or Compact license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner.
