Job Summary The HR Lead Trainer is responsible for conducting and supporting training, compliance, and staff development. This position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. The HR Lead Trainer assists with the supervision and coordination of the training team in collaboration with the ER/Training Manager and works with other HR team members as needed to support training quality, consistency, and compliance. The HR Lead Trainer may interact with program participants and must be familiar with the Guiding Values issued by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). At all times, the HR Lead Trainer is expected to act in accordance with those principles and values and uphold the agency’s mission. Day-to-Day Training Facilitation & Delivery Facilitate assigned agency courses, including Right Response and Virtual New Hire Orientation, delivering at least ten sessions monthly. Maintain necessary credentials, approvals, and instructor qualifications to teach designated curriculums. Partner with BCBAs and agency staff to ensure content supports participant needs and behavioral practices. Adapt instructional delivery to support diverse learning styles while upholding required program standards. Team Leadership & Department Operations Coordinate daily training team operations and support process improvement initiatives. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance guidance to assigned training personnel. Assist the manager with trainer evaluations, professional development, and department planning. Monitor training quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and agency standards. Resolve immediate training logistics, scheduling, and operational challenges as they arise. Data, Compliance & Records Management Manage training schedules, rosters, certifications, and compliance logs. Verify attendance, evaluate assessment materials, and issue completion certificates. Maintain 35-hour training logs and distribute 40-hour and 75-hour certificates. Compile and input accurate training data into the HRIS, LMS, and designated portals. Program & Onboarding Administration Oversee Right Response operations, including rosters, portal documentation, and class payroll processing. Manage Virtual New Hire Orientation and tracking requirements to support a smooth onboarding process. Communicate training expectations, schedules, and next steps to incoming personnel. Monitor completion progress and follow up on missing or incomplete credentials. Develop, review, and update instructional materials to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices. Compile and distribute training resources, manuals, and curriculum updates. Identify and recommend enhancements to training delivery methods and systems. Partnerships & Communication Coordinate logistics, delivery, and documentation for approved external training programs. Serve as a collaborative liaison between HR, training, and operations to communicate compliance goals. Participate in leadership meetings, staff sessions, and process improvement initiatives. Agency Compliance & Ongoing Requirements Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars; complete individual training requirements annually and maintain certifications and licensures, as required. Attend mandatory training to complete: a. First Aid / CPR b. Bloodborne pathogens c. Mandated reporter Operate a personal and/or agency vehicle on a regular basis; maintain personal vehicle in a safe operating condition. Maintain certifications and licenses as a condition of employment: a. Washington State Driver’s license and automobile registration b. Automobile insurance that meets Washington State requirements c. Provide driver’s abstract every 1 year or upon request from agency. Perform other duties assigned on a daily basis. Who we are looking for Apply principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including assessing stakeholder needs, applying service quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction data. Execute administrative and clerical procedures, including word processing, database records management, and standard office workflows. Receive, interpret, and process information and ideas presented through written and verbal communication. Convey information and ideas in written and verbal formats to match the needs of the audience. Manage time and coordinate task deadlines for self and team members to meet project timelines. Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. An associate degree combined with 1 year of experience performing general administrative or human resources functions; or 2 years of experience performing general business or human resources functions. A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering instructional training, designing educational materials, and maintaining training records. A minimum of 2 years of experience onboarding, managing, and supervising personnel, including providing performance feedback and professional mentoring. Proficiency with digital productivity tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and the capacity to adapt to new operational software. Possession of a valid Washington State driver’s license, active automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the parameters for coverage under the agency's fleet policy. Obtaining and maintaining background inquiry clearance from the designated state authority. Starting Wage: $28.00/hr Wage Scale: $28.00 - $33.60/hr Benefits for Full-Time Employees (30 hours or more a week) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) (non-profit version of a 401(k)) with company match, Life Insurance, Tuition Savings Program, and Tuition Reimbursement.
