HVAC TechnicianThe Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across Town facilities. This hands-on position ensures that our buildings remain comfortable, energy-efficient, and well maintained for employees and the public.Responsibilities:Servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems and automatic temperature controlsTesting and troubleshooting equipment such as chillers, air handling units, ductless and split systems, package AC units, boilers, and ventilation systemsUsing laptop-based diagnostic tools and software to monitor and adjust system performancePerforming preventative maintenance, keeping accurate records of repairs, and managing parts replacementsQualifications:High school diploma plus additional training and experience maintaining large HVAC systems and equipment such as air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust fans, split systems, and classroom unit ventilators; must have strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills.Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC LicenseValid MA Driver's LicenseWhy Join Us: Work independently and as part of a professional facilities team that takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and comfortable public buildings.
