Position: Assistant Principal: Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Start date: 6 October 2026 or as negotiated with the successful applicant Employment Status: Full-Time (5 year Contract) Salary: $149,764 - $157,118 (pending experience) + 12.75% super Applications Close: Friday, 17 July 2027 What We Are Looking For Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Junior Curriculum & Pedagogy (AP:JC&P) to join the leadership team at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay. This is a newly created leadership role at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay. The AP: Junior Curriculum and Pedagogy accepts responsibility for the long and short-term goals for pedagogy and practice, as well as the Junior Curriculum. Collaborating with a team of passionate educators, this role will lead initiatives that enhance teaching and learning in junior years (7 – 9). The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on their faith, participate in the life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
