Material Handler

Hourly Pay Range: $18 - $22 USD Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Summary Vomela is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our fast‑paced production and shipping team. This role supports daily warehouse, shipping, and production floor operations. If you’re safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, and enjoy hands‑on work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you. What you’ll do: Verify completeness of shipments against shipping orders Assemble, pack, protect, label, and weigh outgoing shipments Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material‑handling equipment Move materials to support operators on the production floor Trace shipments when required Maintain adequate inventory of packaging supplies Operate forklifts safely and efficiently Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe Assist other departments when shipping duties are completed Make local deliveries or pick‑ups using a company vehicle Perform other duties as assigned What you’ll bring: High school diploma or GED required 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Forklift experience required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems preferred Willingness to learn; training available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources #J-18808-Ljbffr
