At Northrop Grumman, you'll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a candidate to join our diverse team of engineers, system administrators, and operators as a Principal Cyber Systems Administrator or Senior Principal Cyber Systems Administration professional in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor, maintain, and provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support of a mission critical network infrastructure, collect data for analysis, perform network upgrades, and be able to produce documentation and diagrams of the work they perform. The candidate must be able to lead the way to maintain and develop creative solutions to complex problems.Responsibilities:Provide Engineering and Administrative support onsite for a team of developers and testers, often deviating from industry standard procedures to meet mission needs but maintaining system security standards.Working as part of a team to design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systemsAdministering systems based on Linux and Windows operating systemsMaintaining and troubleshooting IP networking systems for AWS and hybrid-cloud systemsAutomating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management toolingPrincipal Cyber Systems Administrator Basic Qualifications:Must be a US citizen with an Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain a Poly to be considered.5 Years with Bachelor's Degree; 3 Years with Masters; 1 year with a PhD; 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.IAT-2 Certification (eg; COMPTIA Security+)Experience with designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutionsExperience of architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large enterprise environmentsExperience with automating tasks (e.g.; Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python)Proven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment and AdministrationSenior Principal Cyber Systems Administrator Basic Qualifications:Must be a US citizen with an Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain a Poly to be considered.8 Years with Bachelor's degree; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Year with PhD; 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.IAT-2 Certification (eg; COMPTIA Security+)Experience with designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutionsExperience of architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large enterprise environmentsExperience with automating tasks (e.g.; Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python)Proven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment and AdministrationPreferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance with current PolyCloud service certification (e.g.; AWS, Azure, Google, or similar)Experience with one or more programming languagesExtensive experience of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs and VPNs;Recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positionsKnowledge of cloud database management (e.g.; MySQL RDS and PostgreSQL)Knowledge of cybersecurity in the context of the cloudComfortable working in an Agile Development environment.Experience managing and manipulating containers (e.g.; PODMAN, DOCKER, KUBERNETES)Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. At Northrop Grumman, we are committed to maintaining the highest of ethical standards, embracing diversity and inclusion, protecting the environment, and striving to be an ideal corporate citizen in the community and in the world.Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
