Case Mix and Position Overview

Our diverse case mix includes:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• OB/GYN
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Trauma Care

While experience in Cardiac care is advantageous, it is not a requirement (additional compensation is available for cardiac expertise). Please note that we do not handle complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants. This is a full-time, hospital-employed W-2 position.

Our physicians and CRNAs thrive in a collaborative atmosphere characterized by mutual respect and a shared commitment to patient care. The supervision model maintains a maximum ratio of 4:1. To uphold a full-time equivalent (FTE) status, MDs are expected to work 2,060 hours annually, with call responsibilities shared equally among the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program
• Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
• Valid Idaho medical license and privileges at our medical center and affiliated hospitals as necessary
• Current controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
