Title
Operating Room Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule
Days, 8 hours, 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements
- 2+ years of current operating room experience
- Float experience in vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotics, urology, and ENT
- Travel experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Scrub and circulate experience
- Must have own vehicle

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the operating room setting, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment during surgical procedures.
- Educate patients and families on pre and post-operative care.
- Monitor and communicate the physical and emotional well-being of patients throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.

Compliance / Notes
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is required.
- Completion of a training program in verbal de-escalation is required.
- 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
- Requested time off must be noted at the time of submission. RTO requests after submission will not be approved.
- Orientation requirement: 8 hours (non-billable).
- Must comply with lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
