Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
• Experience or relevant training in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
• Aptitude for working with K-12 student populations, including adapting approaches for individual needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress documentation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with assistive devices, therapeutic exercise plans, and mobility training

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized PT services tailored to K-12 students’ unique requirements
• Evaluate students, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress toward goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering clear assessments and recommendations
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support optimal student outcomes
• Provide support for PTA staff as needed within the school setting
• Maintain all required records in accordance with school and state guidelines
