Fleet Diesel Mechanic

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and machinery to ensure peak performance and safety. Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Conduct repairs, rebuilds, and routine preventive maintenance to enhance fleet reliability. Adjust engine controls, fuel injection, and emission systems to meet standards. Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop repair plans, estimate costs, and manage parts inventory. Maintain accurate service records, inspect safety systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; Diesel Mechanics Technology preferred. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of diesel systems, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software. Certifications such as ASE Diesel Certification or OEM-specific training are preferred. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
