Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to work approximately 1 day per week with school age children in the Downingtown, PA area. Additional opportunities to build your caseload available in the surrounding communities. A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams. Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation, including: Progress notes IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable) Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for working with children Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours Continuing education opportunitiesClinical support and mentorship Streamlined documentation systems Leadership and advancement opportunities About Austill’s Educational Therapy Services: Austill’s has provided school-based therapy services for over 40 years throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
