Human Resources Generalist – Manufacturing

Mebane, NC | $27.00–$30.00 per hour

The Greer Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the HR team at an established automotive manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC .

This is a hands-on HR role for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll support a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping, and day-to-day HR administration .

We’re looking for someone who is flexible, approachable, organized, and comfortable changing priorities as the needs of the plant and employees change.

What You’ll Do

• Support the HR team with daily Human Resources activities
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation
• Assist employees with HR-related questions and concerns
• Provide support with employee relations, attendance, and documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with timekeeping and timeclock administration
• Support employee badge/access systems
• Assist with employee communications and HR projects
• Work closely with HR leadership, supervisors, and employees throughout the facility
• Provide additional HR support wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Human Resources experience
• Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred
• Experience with recruiting and new-hire onboarding
• Experience supporting employee relations
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Comfortable working directly with hourly manufacturing employees and plant leadership
• Experience with timekeeping/timeclock and employee badge software is a plus
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately
• Must be flexible, dependable, and able to manage changing priorities
