Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Thursday
• Night shift, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Technologist
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience in pediatrics and blood bank procedures is required
• Demonstrated experience with chemistry instruments, specifically Vitros
• Proficiency in both Chem Ortho and Blood Bank operations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and analyze laboratory tests in compliance with established standards for quality and accuracy
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chemistry instrumentation including Vitros systems
• Manage blood bank operations including specimen processing, cross-matching, and transfusion protocols
• Ensure all laboratory processes are compliant with regulatory and safety guidelines
• Accurately document results, maintain records, and communicate findings to healthcare teams
• Contribute to a collaborative environment by sharing expertise and supporting department goals
