We are hiring an experienced Lead Line Cook who can confidently work and run the line independently when our chefs are unavailable or focused on other responsibilities.

This is a hands-on position for someone who knows their way around a busy kitchen, can stay organized, maintain quality and consistency, and keep service moving without needing constant direction. You’ll work alongside our chefs regularly, but you also need to be someone we can trust to handle the line on your own when needed.

If you need a chef standing next to you to get through service, this isn’t the position for you.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Working the line (sauté, grill, prep) every shift
• Prepping from scratch (trimming chicken, breaking down chuck roll, etc.)
• Setting up and stocking stations
• Executing dishes consistently and correctly
• Plating with attention to detail
• Communicating with FOH for accurate, timely service
• Keeping a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen
• Stepping in wherever needed. No task is “below you”

Requirements (Read Carefully)

• Real kitchen experience required (Sous Chef or strong line cook)
• Scratch kitchen experience strongly preferred
• Solid knife skills and basic butchery knowledge
• Able to follow recipes exactly and consistently
• Reliable. Shows up on time, every time
• Works well with a team. No ego

• You’re looking to “manage” instead of cook
• You can’t break down proteins or handle raw product
• You rely on pre-made or shortcut cooking
• You call out often or have unreliable transportation
• You don’t move with urgency all the time
• You have a bad attitude, blame others, or bring drama into the kitchen
• You struggle with cleanliness or food safety standards
• You don’t take pride in the food you put out

Schedule

• Varies week to week
• Must be available for  lunch and dinner shifts (sometimes both in a day)
• Open 7 days a week, 11am–9pm

Closed: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
