Summit Behavioral Solutions provides early intervention to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a data-drive, client-focused team that provides in-home, clinic, and school-based services in the Greater Puyallup area.
MUST HAVE A VALID CBT (CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN) CERTIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity
- Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders
- Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA
- Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan
- Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavior Analyst
- Review data and progress reports with the Behavior Analyst in order to strategize program improvements
- Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner
- Assists in the creation of instructional materials
- Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary
- Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings
- Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Clear criminal background check
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalence
- Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification from the Department of Health
- Previous experience in Autism or other related fields
- Experience in conflict/crisis resolution
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver License and proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation

Salary: Starting at $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
