Schedule: 8-week assignment with rotating shifts; average 2-3 weekend shifts per contract period; 7-8 call shifts per 8-week schedule including weekend call and weekday night call (C1: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. or C2: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.)

Highlights:

• High-volume OR with 16 rooms and average daily census of 35 cases across multiple specialties
• Advanced robotics program featuring 2 Da Vinci XI robots and 1 Mako Ortho robot for general, urologic, colorectal, gynecologic, and orthopedic procedures
• Extensive spine and neuro case mix including cervical/lumbar/thoracic fusions, craniotomies, and kyphoplasty
• High-volume total joint program (hips, knees, shoulders) and comprehensive urologic and laparoscopic services
• Epic EMR with on-site pharmacy support and interdisciplinary team including IV teams, interpretation services, and radiology
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; holiday expectations apply based on assignment period

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience with both scrub and circulate skills (HARD STOP requirement)
• Previous charge experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I preferred
• Competency with robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi, Mako), total joints, spine/neuro cases, and urologic procedures
• Ability to perform own vital signs and blood glucose checks
• Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may result in 2-week postponement

• Orientation hours vary by contract length (non-billable, completed during first week)
• Floating rare but may occur within facility and scope of practice

• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no requests accepted post-offer or during orientation week
• Holiday coverage: If 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, expect to work both; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, expect to work 2
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
